Walter Scott Lenox, a pottery and porcelain enthusiast, founded the company in Trenton, New Jersey in 1889. The company specialized in ivory china and custom dinnerware. In 1965, Lenox acquired the Bryce Brothers Company to expand into glass manufacturing now known around the world for its quality and modern designs.
The ‘Library Stripe’ pattern of crystal was made by Lenox for Kate Spade New York from 2004-2018. This heavy vase is made from thick lead-free crystal and measures 7.5 inches tall. It is in very good condition with just a few light scratches on the base near the acid-etched logos for Lenox and Kate Spade (see photos).
