babs6561 I am curious about investing in a 'new' item. I appreciate the savings, but am slightly skeptical. I have two questions. What does 'Assembled by professional team...' mean? Also, if this vacuum is brand new, never been used, why is it for sale?

bsbrogers @babs6561 hi. I completely understand your questions and concern. My husband and I purchased two Kirby’s right before COViD because he was working and living in Las Vegas and I was starting a new job in Texas. Because we paid cash and purchased two together we got a good discount.

bsbrogers @babs6561 Both of the Kirby’s were completely assembled at the time of purchase by the Kirby sales associates, so that is the professional team I was referring to. I still have the original packaging and box that both Kirbys came in. I’m sorry that my initial description doesn’t clearly depict the validity of this item.

bsbrogers @babs6561 Incase it wasn’t clear.,, the purchases were made prior to Covid when we planned for me to accept a position in Texas, not where my husband is stationed (military) in Vegas. Covid caused me to lose this position so we now have 2 Kirbys in 1 household in Vegas. We would like to sell the unused Kirby.

babs6561 Thanks for clarifying my questions. I have had a 'bee in my bonnet' for days since I have been thinking about making an investment in a Kirby. I don't know of salespeople in my remote area. Today, I learned about a contact from whom I could get more information, so I am still thinking about this purchase. I am close to making a commitment, but still need to learn a little more time.

babs6561 I have been exploring Poshmark to learn about Buyer Protection and Refund policies to gain confidence in this possible purchase. I also think I understand that Kirby warranties don't transfer to 'third' parties. I am not able to learn about any warranty that might accompany this impressive machine. Is there any possible warranty information that you are aware of?

babs6561 PS the pet attachment would come handy in our 2 dog Great Dane and Mini Aussie household. The dust has been drought deep in our house, and I am seeking relief that a superior vacuum could offer!

bsbrogers @babs6561 I understand your need for pet relief! That’s a major reason we went with Kirby actually bc we have 3pups as well! They are service dogs and fly with me most of the time so we got two Kirbys so both our houses could stay in the best shape possible! I hope we can make a deal here bc it sounds like a good fit for you and recouping at least some of my investment would be very helpful after losing my job due to Covid. I’ll be in touch w/the warranty info ASAP!

bsbrogers @babs6561 Sorry for delay. The info we have says that the warranty is not transferable to a third party buyer. So the same information that you found. I am going to call tomorrow to ask if there is a secondary warranty that can be accessed or purchased. I’m sorry if this deters you from the purchase, but I will continue checking into this as best I can!

bsbrogers @lushiis I used a combo of pics of my own and some I found online. When I get home from work today I’ll take individual pics of my specific machine and will label them so you know what the dog brush is, the shampooing machine, etc.

bsbrogers @lushiis ok. This is actually a little difficult through Posh but I’ve done my best! See the new pics. The last is a picture of the pet attachment which is sold separately for $50. The other pics are pretty self explanatory but feel free to ask questions.
