Kai-Yin Lo Amethyst Ring

Kai-Yin Lo (KYLO 925) is known as a pioneer in jewelry design.  She uses cultural designs to create beautiful jewelry using gold vermeil (a thick coating of gold over sterling silver) and semi-precious gemstones.  This ring is marked KYLO, her signature, and 925 which is also part of her signature and indicates sterling silver.  The stone is an oval cabochon amethyst.  Cabochon is a gemstone that is polished until it has an orb shape rather than faceted.
