Created by Kalki Fashion, this ready-to-wear Indian kurta is very versatile and comfortable for everyday wear, or a casual party. The design of the fabric emulates many designs found in nature, and its muted colors are boldened by the addition of shimmering gold throughout (see photos for details). The set includes the kurta (tunic), pants and a dupatta (large scarf). The kurta is embellished with youthful trimmings of white cotton ric-rac trim and scalloped lace. The matching pants have an elastic waist in the back, with an adjustable drawstring in front, one inner pocket and it is also trimmed with the scalloped lace. The translucent, silky dupatta is super lightweight. It is dyed in a light gray batik pattern and trimmed with fabric, matching the tunic and pants. Although there are no fiber tags, Kalki uses natural fibers whenever possible and this fabric feels like a smooth, lightweight rayon/cotton. The dupatta feels like silk. This set is of extremely high quality, from fiber to the tailoring. There is no size tag, so please read the measurements. I wear a US Small (size 2/4) and this fit me comfortably.
