This soft, durable, chainstitch wool-on-canvas Kandinsky style crewelwork decorative throw pillow is soft to the touch yet hard wearing. At 18" square, the funky colors and shapes in this deeply abstracted cushion cover design have been inspired by the modern art movement of the early 1900's including Kandinsky and include bright modern color block shape graphics in orange, off-white, pale blue, marine blue, sage green, black, straw gold and silver. Hand-made in Kashmir by master craftsmen and women using a century’s old chainstitch technique and using the finest quality pre-dyed 100% wool yarn. The cover is 100% pure wool stitching; the back is plain cream cotton canvas fastened with 2 wooden buttons. Eye-catching and exquisite, this pillow will make a stunning statement or display.
