Kangaroo costume missing joey

This kangaroo costume sells for $56 on Amazon, but has a pretty weird feature in which the pouch resembles something more like a man's private appendage😳. I took a soft piece of cloth and pinned it to the belly to improve the decency of the costume. It's not perfect, but could be sewn on instead of pinned. It is missing the joey, as I gathered from online reviews that the original pouch was not effective at keeping the joey attached. In the photos I took, I clipped a stuffed animal dog to the costume. As far as the fit, I am 5'3 and it was a tad tricky to get on (I had to step through the neck opening), but fit pretty well once in was on. It's roomy around the middle, but limited torso. It's 32 inches from shoulder to crotch, 25" pit to pit, 57" shoulder to bottom of ankle cuff.
