Karen Alexander fab 1980s western black/red check dress full circle skirt w/belt

Is this not the best Karen Alexander dress ever? It's peak 1980s, with padded shoulders with pleated shoulder treatment to make the silhouette even more dramatic, and an absolutely full circle skirt. The yoke features gold piping around the yoke and on the appliqued embroidered cowboy boots motif. The front buttons are fashioned to look like the snaps on a Western shirt. The dress has a self-belt, to wear or not, above the slightly dropped waist. And -- it has pockets. This is a vintage size 12, not the same as a modern size 12, which is why I put it at a size medium here. Measurements: length 51 inches; padded shoulder 17.5 inches; pit to pit 18 inches; sleeve 21 inches; natural waist 15.5 inches. NOTE:There is no fading or color variant or discoloration on this dress; anything that even looks like that is a photo fail. My camera couldn't distribute the flash equally in a limited space with such a long dress.In the 1980s, Karen Alexander dresses sold for more than $200, in shops like Neiman-Marcus, the equivalent of about $600 today.
