Bowl is of a more rectangular design, with half-circle inward dips at the 'edges'. The outside is mostly white glaze with painted green vines, yellow flower, and red flower buds. Inside edges and bottom are painted with green background, yellow vines, and red/yellow flowers. The cup has a painted green background with a yellow/red flower, yellow vines, and blue accents around the base and top. On the bottom of both is "Kashmir Takahashi San Francisco 1981 Hand Decorated", the bowl has a sticker about this as well.
