daywensgoods There are 2 removable handles tied on at same time. You can remove both and use the shoulder strap in the outer loops. Or make your own handle. To remove the green, untie and slide off. To remove the white tassel, untie at end of tassel, then unloop. Cutting anything is unnecessary. Thank you for looking.
