vintagewonder @klg1972 sorry missed the first question the dress is cut very narrow in the torso so I did have to size up to the 8. All the "Emma" style had this problem. Also the silk doesn't give much stretch unlike the latter "Emma" style that were done in a Cotten stretch (like the famous lemon dress).

klg1972 @vintagewonder Hi, thank you for that information. I bought the Madison Ave., Kate Spade from you a while back and love it but it's a little tight in the chest at a size 6. Do you feel this dress I is a little bit bigger than that one may have been? I can't actually zip up the Madison Avenue at this point but I am normally a size 6-8 in tops.

vintagewonder @klg1972 its the same season and cut of dress just different material and fortunately this material has less give them the other dress so I feel you're going to be in the same situation where it's tight in the chest.

vintagewonder @klg1972 Yes because there is only a 1- 1/2 inch difference between bust in this dress style this why I opted for the 8 in the pink

klg1972 @vintagewonder Thank you for your honesty and because I'm in the process of losing 10 more pounds and getting back to my ideal weight I am still going to consider this because it will definitely fit at that point. Quick question is this dress white or pale pink?

kt312 Could you please provide the bust and waist measurements? I also usually wear a size 6 but, in KS, find the need to size up to an 8 for the extra room in the chest. However, their is one particular style where I needed to purchase a size 10 to be altered down... Thanks so much! LOVE classic look of the pale pink.
