Kate Spade Lobster Authentication Real vs. Fake

THIS IS NOT A LISTING, DO NOT BUY I have noticed a lot of fake lobster purses being posted and sold as authentic. Warning, these are really good fakes but there are some telltale signs. I just want to help someone else avoid the mistake I made!! These apply to all bags with an external price tag that is GREEN Ask Seller: Was NOT from the outlet and was from 2018. Should NOT have a freshly manufactured smell. Tags External: The green price tag should have colour code picnicred(646) (all fakes have picnicred(645)); Extra hangtag should say "take care" and have black ribbon (fakes say "Hold the phone" with no ribbon-this tag was from the lobster phone crossbody...not this bag); Care card should be white (most fakes have newer light pink one) Tags Internal: Real has S979 on black tag (fake was P436) Construction: Look for quality control at seams and leg wrappings (Fakes will have messy leg wrappings that do not all go in the same direction and are not cut/glued straight.) Based on several authenticated bags and many fakes I've seen posted on almost all resale sites...
