Kate Spade New York Green Leather Made in Italy Handbag This is a gorgeous green color and such a classic silhouette. The bag is circa 2004/2005 and is pretty rare. I’ve not seen another one and couldn’t find one online. It’s very similar in style to the Sam that was so popular around that time. (May be a Sam, I can’t remember.) The leather is high quality. Unlike most Kate Spade bags, it doesn’t have a lining-the leather takes center stage. Lovely flap with magnetic button and one zipper pocket. I actually ordered this bag on the phone sight unseen. I had a bag I’d ordered that was damaged and I called Kate Spade customer service and they immediately offered to replace it and asked what I was looking for. She was basically my personal shopper via phone and described this and said it had not been quite as mass produced. I love green so I said sure! It was one of my favorites for a long time. The leather does have some marks you can see in the photos-normal for this type of leather and how old the bag is. Still good used condition and comes with dust bag. Remarkably clean interior, pocket has some dust in it. Smoke free home, has been in a cedar chest for a long time. Thanks for looking!
