Katharine Hamnett vintage velvet flared pants from the 90s. A very rare piece from the cult British designer, Katharine Hamnett. Although she is best known for pioneering the political slogan shirts (remember those Choose Life tee’s that Wham wore in the 80s?), Hamnett was also a brilliant, contemporary fashion designer. Her minimalist viewpoint, with a penchant for grunge sensibilities (these trousers are perfect example) was refreshing, especially from a British designer at that time.
