Besides the pen marks inside what is the condition of the suede? It is hard to tell from the pics. One of the pictures the suede looks pink.

I have this exact bag and would you believe my cats decide it was a scratching post when I wasn't aware. Mine looks bad now! Is this purse brown pretty much or tan? It looks more tan than brown cognac in the picture. Trying to replace mine but wanted to be sure is the correct color.
