A true sweet way to add that simple but elevated pop of color, love to help you through your long days ๐Ÿซถ I've never seen another pair & not only is the GM dee frame harder to find but dee size lolite stones, that's impossible! I purchased them this way, so I'm not sure if they were customized at home or at KS store. Now 1 thing....the hook on 1 is slightly out of shape but easy to shift back. Comes from a smoke free home. Reasonable offers will be considered.

marigold1959 Absolutely beautiful however, these are not vintage because Kendra Scott has only been in business since 2010

ksstylist @marigold1959 ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† I've heard about you going around saying this... when we discuss KS & refer to an item being Vintage KS, we are speaking specifically about the brand & the age of the piece w/in KS timeline/history. just like those who collect/Dell Coach or other brands...w/in those circuits they will state Vintage Coach or Vtg ......
Aug 16Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @ksstylist you are absolutely incorrect. Iโ€™ve been in the business Iโ€™ve worked for Kendraโ€ฆ I have sold her pieces before she opened her first shop โ€ฆ I will check it out with her first before you miss lead people
Aug 16Reply

ksstylist @marigold1959 w/in collectors world brand items tht are 7+yrs old is considered & referred to as "Vintage". Hopefully, this helps you understand & clarifies your misunderstanding about KS & verbiage used.
Aug 16Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @ksstylist you are 100% incorrect. I would verify it with Kendra before you missed state information about her brandโ€ฆ she has many collections many times a year however, none of them a vintageโ€ฆ they may look and have a vintage field, but they are not vintage
Aug 16Reply
ksstylist
ksstylist @marigold1959 also, Kendra actually started her business in 2002 my dear. Just word of advice, make sure you have your facts in order when approaching others to poke at them
Aug 16Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @ksstylist I do have my facts in orderโ€ฆ I visit with her twice a year in AZ
Aug 16Reply
ksstylist
ksstylist @marigold1959 I sincerely implore you to do better research before you instigate discord. It's absolutely true that kendra started her business in 2002...go buy her book, it's a wealth of knowledge that will certainly assist you in learning the correct details.

ksstylist @marigold1959 You clearly hv your boots stuck in concrete & refuse to accept tht u are incorrect. U r a topic of conversation amongst the collector community as you hv been on a recent rampage to harass us over the logistics of the word "vintage". I am 1 of many who hv tried to correct u, but clearly ur ears r closed. I wish you well & hopefully u will see the error of ur ways sooner than later.

marigold1959
marigold1959 @ksstylist thanks honey Iโ€™ve been in the business longer than youโ€™ve been alive.. I know what Iโ€™m talking about.. Kendra Scott is not vintage and you should not interfere with another person.. that is selling dirty Kendra Scott without posts she got insulted because I thought that she could invest $.50 in posts.. your pieces are not from 2002 that you were calling vintage. I am meeting with Kendra in October. I will check it out with her. And we will get back to you. Have a wonderful evening.
Aug 17Reply
ksstylist
ksstylist @marigold1959 huh? u make no sense, I don't understand wht u r referring or talking about, pertaining to dirty post ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ. I don't claim that this item is from 2002, I was correcting you that KS started in 2002 as you wrongly state she started in 2012.
Aug 17Reply
ksstylist
ksstylist @marigold1959 Again, those who COLLECT kendra scott will refer to a piece that is 7+ yrs old as "vintage Kendra scott"...we are not saying that KS is a vintage brand, we are simply referring directly to her pieces within the KS timeline as vintage when discussing, selling or buying KS. We are talking just about KS...just like those who collect coach purses...they will refer to a coach as vtg coach purse...its about the brands timeline, NOT the timline of jewelry in general
Aug 17Reply
ksstylist
ksstylist @marigold1959 BTW, there are bigger issues than arguging w/ a stranger over semantics. take this energy & apply to doing good in this world like a random act of kindness. After, that's more in aligned w/ the KS brand than the negative instigating messy boots behavior you are currently engaging in.
Aug 17Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @ksstylist you are miss leading the public just like in your posts about Targetโ€ฆ again Kendra Scott may have vintage looking pieces, but they are not vintage and a coach bag from seven years ago is not vintage. I have dealt with thousands of collectors and thousands of designers do your research.โฃ๏ธ
Aug 17Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @ksstylist vintage styles are different than vintageโ€ฆ a coach bag from seven years ago itโ€™s not vintage maybe coach at a vintage collection but that is still not vintage.. itโ€™s best for you to read the book deluxe. It may give you an idea of the timeline on collections I designers.

marigold1959 @ksstylist I am extremely philanthropic. How about you?
Aug 17Reply
ksstylist
ksstylist @marigold1959 that target post is a PSA to help posh buyers not fall victim to a fraudulent posh reseller. there's a current epidemic in poshmark - many nefarious resellers (flippers) misleading buyers by omitting imperative details like the piece they are selling is a target piece....and, they r selling those pieces more than retail. As a person who runs from a golden heart, I like to try to help my posh community from unscrupulous resellers

marigold1959 @ksstylist there are many of those around here๐Ÿฅน

marigold1959 @ksstylist I see your prices are more than suggested retail. Are you one of those unscrupulous sellers?

ksstylist @missingsoho here's where she started her unsolicitated rhetoric w/ me today
Aug 17Reply
heidiang
heidiang @marigold1959 You clearly haven't looked at her sold items, she sells a lot well below retail and let's vintage (yes "vintage") go for much, much less than some of these Posh sellers. We in the Kendra community know and trust @ksstylist as a reputable seller and collector. Word for the wise (and for you) choose kindness instead of being so argumentative. Especially since you don't seem to know much about the brand. ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ

c_blagburn
c_blagburn @marigold1959 when you meet with her can you ask her to bring back vintage styles like when she first started? Also to make them as durable. These new pieces are cute but look cheap. They wonโ€™t resell like the older vintage pieces will.. Just wondering if you could pass that message along since you know her please and thanks ๐Ÿ™‚ We miss the vintage styles and how great they were made. ๐Ÿ˜Œ
Aug 17Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @c_blagburn we get an update twice a month on their new collections. She likes to be innovative and not bring back what she once did a vintage look things will probably be getting more contemporary.

20071111 @heidiang @ksstylist this person is clearly unhinged and just attacking people trolling the internet. I would not take anything this person says to heart. No guarantee those pictures are even them. I know @ksstylist personally and she has some of the most extensive knowledge about the KS brand. We should collectively block this internet troll who is claiming to meet with Kendra weekly or monthly or whatever they said. Clearly they are delusional.

lavishkat
lavishkat @marigold1959 According to Merriam-Webster, the definition of "vintage" as a noun is a period of origin or manufacture (ex. Kendra Scott necklace vintage 2002). As an adjective, it would be used for something old, or dating from the past (ex. Kendra Scott necklace vintage 2002). In the world of antiques, there is no set timeframe that something must be X years old to be vintage. In fact, the definition of the word "antique" could also be used to describe some of these pieces as well.

ksstylist @lavishkat thank you! Aug 17Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @lavishkat I have been in the business for over 40 years. My grandfather was an antique dealer antiques are 100 years oldโ€ฆ vintage is 20 however, the pieces that were shown were not from 2002. They can be called a. โ€œVintage lookโ€.. an item from seven years ago is definitely not vintage. It does not even have a vintage appeal or look to it. I have studied and researched and have taken thousands of classes and tutorials by the most famous designers across the world so I do know
Aug 17Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @lavishkat you are quite mistaken, my dear in the antique world there is a defined number of years. Maybe you should read up on this and take some classes and educate yourself.
Aug 17Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @lavishkat if you were speaking for your friend, she should not be using Kendra Scottโ€™s name unless she pays royaltiesโ€ฆ hiding behind a faรงade is not coolโฃ๏ธ

pgenzmer1010
pgenzmer1010 @marigold1959 Antiques are completely different. All you need to do is look up the definition in the dictionary, if you can read. Clothing and Jewelry can be a specific look from a past collection of Kendra that she no longer makes and can be considered โ€œvintageโ€ under the definition. Good lord, leave these ladies with integrity alone.
Aug 17Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @pgenzmer1010 I was responding to the last comment.. Iโ€™m happy to set anyone up with tutorials and teach them. What is vintage and what is antique I have studied each period and decade of jewelry and clothing I do know what Iโ€™m talking about and I would be happy to st you up in a training program

marigold1959
marigold1959 @pgenzmer1010 I am only responding to their message to me.
Aug 17Reply
texasfashion101
texasfashion101 @marigold1959 more than 7 yrs old piece of jewelry by KS is in fact considered vintage because itโ€™s been almost a decade and the piece is no longer manufactured. It becomes a unique piece. The better it is in condition and the less pieces there are for re-sale of that particular style/model, the more value it is given to it.
Aug 17Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @20071111 have you been trained and have 3ยฐ in jewelry? I donโ€™t think so. Why donโ€™t you do your homework and get back to me
Aug 17Reply
kalden0311
kalden0311 @ksstylist obviously this โ€œposh ambassadorโ€ really should do her Kendra Scott research since she meets with her twice a year in AZ or better yet maybe come meet with all of us at our private annual meeting at the ATX flagship store and we could all educate her! She would also know that Kendra got her start out of the trunk of her car in the 90โ€™s! Educate โ€˜yoself! ๐Ÿค”
Aug 17Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @kalden0311 yes she did and you all should know that vintage is not one decade. Think you all need to go to school and educate yourselves before you have anything else to say to me.
Aug 17Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @arminda0659 vintage is two decades a decade is 10 years educate yourself please before you respond to me again
Aug 17Reply
texasfashion101
texasfashion101 @marigold1959 who hurt you because you are definitely on a mission to start picking fights. You show no class. You started everything. I personally donโ€™t have the time. Iโ€™ve got much better things to do.

20071111
20071111 @marigold1959 lol I donโ€™t need a degree to know you are trolling the internet . I know harassment when I see it.
Aug 17Reply
lavishkat
lavishkat @marigold1959 sigh, though I typically do not try to reason with unreasonable people, today, I will make an exception. 1. This is not regarding antiques. Those are a different category. I have dealt with antiques for decades. I understand the difference ;) 2. Most experts agree that items between 20-99 years are labeled in "vintage" category. While newer items can also be classified as vintage if they have a similar design.
Aug 17Reply
lavishkat
lavishkat @marigold1959 Continued .. 3. Kendra Scott's name can be used as this is the brand name of these items. Who in their right mind would pay royalty for citing the appropriate brand name? Lol 4. Start citing actual names and sources for your "3ยฐ" lol 5. I'm also quite educated and familiar with jewelry through the years, have an extensive antique (& vintage) collection & have studied with the GIA & other reputable educational institutions.
Aug 17Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @lavishkat exactly from 20 to 99 years is vintage and then it goes to antique you can say it is a Vintage book or inspired vintage, but you cannot state that itโ€™s vintage most people on the site think that a decade is 20 years
Aug 17Reply
lavishkat
lavishkat @marigold1959 Finally - I live in AZ. Feel free to send the details of your "secret meet up" with Kendra for validation, since you love to cite facts.

marigold1959
marigold1959 @lavishkat no secret if it was, I wouldโ€™ve told you lol are usually donโ€™t style my clients in an inexpensive brand like Kendra Scott and Iโ€™d like to find more creative deciders. However, by next client is doing a show and has a cheap aesthetic.
Aug 17Reply
lavishkat
lavishkat @marigold1959 eek I hope your client doesn't see that you think their aesthetic is cheap. And while I enjoy KS pieces, I also have studied Gemology and have a broad range and scope of knowledge of many different brands and styles thru the years. ๐Ÿฅฐ
Aug 17Reply
ksstylist
ksstylist @lavishkat Whoa...did she literally just call KS cheap? speechless, especially considering she has excessively testified for the last 24hrs on several of my posts how close she is to Kendra. Extremely unprofessional behavior has been displayed here. Any true professional wld nt act so classless or with such lack of couth.
Aug 17Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @lavishkat yes she just turned 40 and she wants to look like she did when she was 18. Thatโ€™s her words cheap. We can discuss gemology I studied in France and have my Gia

lavishkat @marigold1959 A lot of women are reliving their youth after being stifled from enjoying the things that make them happy. Myself, included. I love both high end gemstones/jewelry, and rainbow/unicorn/Lisa Frank vibes. I'm most certainly not cheap. Lol Very expensive, in fact.

ml2104
ml2104 @lavishkat Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge, I just read all this โ€œnovelaโ€ ๐Ÿคฃ I canโ€™t believe all the nonsense displayed and the amount of contradictions she posted. I would be embarrassed of talking this way about a jewelry designer that I supposedly meet twice per year, all this to show the kind of character a person can have, very sad ๐Ÿ˜” For all the Kendra lovers out there, who cares what people can say? Is like beauty, very ambiguous, depending on the person.
Aug 17Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @ml2104 it also depends on how you wear it you can wear a five dollar piece and I can look like $1000 and you are $1000 piece and I can look cheap..
Aug 17Reply
marigold1959
marigold1959 @ml2104 iโ€™m not saying anything I donโ€™t say it to Kendra Scott I have made her hundreds of thousands of dollars her materials are based metal. They are not expensive. She is not trying to sell diamonds and sapphires. She is trying to sell a look to younger people and why do you people care so much?
Aug 17Reply
ksstylist
ksstylist @marigold1959 actually, you are inaccurate...KS sells diamonds, Sapphires & they have for well over a decade. KS just introduced new Lab Grown diamonds this year to join their extensive line of jewelry. KS offers a wide range of jewelry pieces, from fashion utilizing natural stones to Demi-Fine pieces (sterling silver & Vermeil), lab grown diamonds to their expensive fine jewelry line that includes custom engagement rings. KS has many types of pieces to reach majority of jewelry consumers.

Better to just block at this point lol. I canโ€™t believe this is an Ambassador on peopleโ€™s wall arguing like this with incorrect information. ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„
