Son of a keen amateur artist, he studied the subject at Oldham School of Art and later at the Manchester College of Arts. As with so many of the more successful and popular artists of today his skill in draughts- manship took him as a graphic designer into the world of advertising and eventually he established his own business in Manchester. By the late 1960's however, he was drawn to Cornwall and now lives and paints at Padstow with his wife and children. A picture from the Kevin Platt Collection.
