This a weekly share group for KID items. See images for how it works. I'm altering the way we share to combat some potential changes to the PM sharing algorithm. Please see the first few comments for more info on what I have discovered.

kidzcloths626 Hi All. I am changing things up a bit and here is why.....In my research and testing I have found that Sharing the same item, from the same closet, on the same day can be unreliable in whether or not it is shared to the feed. See above pictures on what I actually tested and how I did it. To help combat this potential flaw in our sharing, I ask that you share 10 items each share making them different items each time.

kidzcloths626 I understand that some, will "like" a set number of items and then share them for the week, and I apologize if this change is inconvenient. However if there is any truth to the change (as it appears there is some) I want to make sure this remains fair to all involved and we are not wastefully sharing. kidzcloths626 One last item I would like to DEBUNK- I shared my closet 3 times in a matter of 5 hours, all shares showed up in the feed, so the Rule of 3 (anything beyond 3 items from your own closet) is simply not true. I also share blasted the same item 6 times from my closet and saw the shares in the feed. I also don't believe this applies to other closets as well, I think the only glitch is sharing the same item from another posher's closet within the same day.

kidzcloths626 @shopaasha Yes, rotating the 10 items, basically try not to share the same 10 items for all three shares, it's okay if you don't remember exactly what items you shared. Just try to share from the top, middle and bottom of the closet in hopes of mixing it up. 😀

I apologize for dropping the ball the past few months with the share group, I have been dealing with kidney stones (multiple one!) I will be having a procedure done next week to hopefully get rid of the rest that are in my kidneys. If anyone would like to run the group out of their closet next week let me know. 😀

You and your buddy share each other 3x/day 10 items each share rotating the items you share. Sign out after your third share. I can tag you in last weeks listing and you see how the comments work.

If you look at the images above, I did a little test with sharing the exact same items in a day and it can be unreliable whether it is shared to the feed.

dragonflybtq @kidzcloths626 I have a slipped disc in my low back that's bone on bone & it misaligned my spine & is very painful. On bad days it's all I have to take care of my kids. 17, 6 & 5. Weather changes kill me & I live in Central NY so it happens a lot! I'm considering getting a mannequin for kids clothes but I don't that it would be easier for picture taking or harder. I'm always open for advice if you have any to share! 😁 Thank you!!

kidzcloths626 @my3kidsark Aww, I am sorry to hear you are in so much pain. Kids mannequins aren't my favorite, I don't think it always presents the clothes in a nice way, and it will definitely be more time consuming. I use a piece of foam core (dollar store find). Lay the clothes down and take a picture from overhead. Quick and easy, but also presents nicely. I also use an APP called Snapseed, to help lighten just the background, but that's for when I don't have the best lighting.

kidzcloths626 @my3kidsark I learned early on that its best to take pictures all at once and then post the items later, for a couple of reasons; 1. More users are on at night 2. You will get more listed if you already have all the pictures taken, taking and picture and then listing one at a time can be much more time consuming. 3. I am more likely to be too tired to start picture taking later in the day or week, than just simply posting them, its my way of being lazy but productive, haha.

dragonflybtq @kidzcloths626 I do have the foam board & almost never good lighting. I'll look into that app in a bit. If I lay like 4 foam boards together can you see the lines between them? I bought a white sheet I've been hanging on the pantry door in my kitchen & hanging the shirts on that but I've come to learn that if I take pics of a bunch of things in 1 nite them want to bundle them the lighting is different from 1 item to the next & I haven't figured that out yet!😂

kidzcloths626 @my3kidsark Haha, exactly! I am all about doing things in the quickest way possible. If you join 4 boards together and use the app to lighten the background you won't see those lines. Lighting is so tricky, early morning seems to work best, I sometimes get up Sunday before everyone just to take pictures. This will also give you the same color background so when you decide to bundle stuff, it will all look uniform.

holly_hartley @saralinda13 I have a colic newborn...life is very crazy. I thought for sure I had shared randomly 10 x 3 yesterday. And Tuesday was crazy so all had to be shared at the same time. I really dont want to drop we only have today and tomorrow. I'll set an alarm on my phone to make sure they are in and spread out. I apologize that we are sharing together on such a rough week for me. We are awaiting a referral to a big hospital for the baby to see a gastroenterologist.

holly_hartley @saralinda13 She will be 2 months old on Monday and it has been a rough ride. Finally I TOLD my pediatrician that something needed to be done. She is miserable and just cries all day long. I hate that her first few months being in her new world has been so yucky. kidzcloths626 @holly_hartley 🤣🤣 your message cracked me up. I was raised the same way. But I started this policy when I first started the group, I will jump in whenever necessary bc we are all Mamas here and know what it’s like to have a rough day, week, etc. I have a friend who went through something similar. Ended up putting the baby on regular Gerber sensitive and symptoms went away. I think all the meds and special formulas were making it worse for her little one. Food for thought (pun intended 😉)

holly_hartley @kidzcloths626 lol. So story goes like this...I have breastfed all my little ones (liv make baby #4) never put any of them on formula. However, at 4 days old my breastmilk had not yet come in and her weight went from 8lbs13oz to 7lbs11oz.The des said it was a "failure to thrive". After we delivered a stillborn last father's day (2017) those words made me sick to my stomach. I immediately put her on a supplement formula.

kidzcloths626 @holly_hartley omg to all of it! First, so sorry for your loss. Second, I know how you feel my daughter dropped weight to 4.5lbs the first few days and then it took weeks to get her up to a normal weight. (I make small babies haha). Third, that’s a lot of money, I feel like under certain situations insurance should cover those expensive formulas. I’m sure it’s frustrating. Hope it all gets better for you.

kidzcloths626 @balldan No worries at all. Most people just don’t know because they see other closets selling similar items. Good rule of thumb is, if you can’t wear it, you can sell it. Haha. But there is also other categories like sporting equipment and baby carriers that aren’t allowed either. Because my share group is a week long thing, I try to make it as fair as possible.

I keep track of everyone I pair up, so this why those that sign up every week have a rotation of who they pair up with (I try to make sure no one has the same Share buddy within 8 weeks).

You do the best you can, we are all moms with crazy lives haha. I love your little man posing for all the pics. Such a cute way to show the items. holly_hartley @kidzcloths626 hello my dear. I shared yesterday 3 times...once in the early am...like 2 or 3am. The others where late last night at midnight and then again at 1am. They were almost exactly an hour apart...I stayed up just to do it. We are on a mini school clothes shopping vaca in Orlando. But I will complete shares as always. I also shared 12 items x3 both Monday and Tuesday because I knew the rest of the week would be bundled.

(Obviously I can’t see the time they were shared🤣) I usually don’t need to specify but completing shares by midnight is best as well. The idea is that they are spread out through the day. I totally get crazy life, I’ve been sick for the past couple weeks so I feel ya. Hopefully this will help with any confusion. Hope you are having. A blast shopping! I’m jealous 🤣

It has created some confusion similar to this situation where I think people don’t realize that you’ve shared them because of the time of the shares. We are buddies for the week and share 10 items 3x/day rotating which items are shared. Shares must be completed by midnight your time and must be a least one hour apart, ideally a few hours apart. It can’t be sold (although there a few things that fall out of the scope haha). If you go to Community Guidelines you will find a section that talks about what items are not allowed.

Just a few things about the group, everyone has to be Posh compliant, toys are not allowed to be sold on Posh so that would have to be removed if you wanted to join. Also I require everyone have at least 20 kids items for sale, do you plan on adding more items?

kidzcloths626 @chelseabullock no worries! Haha. The purse is okay. General rule of thumb on Posh is if you can wear it you can sell it haha. And sorry I didn’t explain this well, so it’s 20 listings, so even though you may have a listing with more that one item available for sale that would still count as one listing. I wouldn’t suggest splitting them up, all those that likes the listing would know it was split and just think the item sold and isn’t available anymore. Does that make sense? Haha.

kidzcloths626 @buyitwhenfound 🤣 it is amazing what people try to sell on here. I see cars pretty often. 🙃. Every closet shares 10 per round, 3 rounds a day for the week. We rotate the items shared in the same day to beat the Posh algorithm. You have the same buddy but I can’t assign closets by how big they are, it would get too complicated. When you are assigned a buddy feel free to reach out to them privately and see if they would like to share more. Some may.
