glam_grrll @retro_luxe Yes, she really was something... she was beautiful, and good to everyone. She did a huge Halloween business.. She was so special, if someone didn't have $$, shed lend these beautiful things, and just said " bring it back after..." who does that? Her. it was SO fun.. I used to clean her jewelry cases on Saturday's.. she'd pay me, and feed me... but I loved to do it!! ❤

glam_grrll @retro_luxe Yes... I lost her on Mothers Day. She has had dementia , and passed on Mothers Day. She did for EVERYONE. She never went somewhere empty handed. In the end, she had me... and every time I walked in, she knew. She never, ever let us call her grandma. Her name was Elly. And even with dementia, she'd call me her neice. I corrected her the first couple times, but then I caught on..lol. She was no Grammy.. but she was great. And I got to see her face light up.

glam_grrll My last visit, when I was ready to leave, she softly asked me for a kiss... I said of course... OMG. The first, and last time I kissed my grandmotger. I risked my life to go see her, to tell her to go with the angels. 💙

glam_grrll @retro_luxe Me too..But she lived a long life, she was beautiful. Like Marilyn meets Sandra Dee..lol. She was married twice, then dated a man in the mafia forever... he was actually a nice man..but... thrifting, and working hard, took her EVERYWHERE.. I found out, when she passed, my hateful aunt kept everyone away... a terrible story, but she had me, and was well taken care of..but omg, your closet, just so reminds me of her!! 💙🦋
