sach1k0 The bag is 12" wide from edge to edge and is 7" tall. The width across the base (front to back) is about 1". As you may be able to see from the pictures, the zipper to the main compartment runs the entire length of the bag. The smaller compartment has a zipper that is 10" long, and runs the entire length of that space as well.
