Never used for snowmobiling, actually barely used it at all. Warm as hell and as rugged and waterproof as a beaver pelt haha. This jacket is amazing but it shouldn't just sit in my closet. The elbows and other areas are crazy thick 100 cordura like you see on the inner ankles of ice climbing bibs. Missing the female snap on the chin closure but I never noticed it it while wearing it and could be replaced for pennies. Clean and always hung on the original hanger in my pet free home. I'm picky and this is an awesome jacket. Fits true to men's large.

mttcnnn814 @mintgelato yeah I would I've never worn it lol. How did you know about that?

mintgelato @mttcnnn814 checked out your profile , saw you have someone a nice review on it. I’ve been searching for so long for that jacket. How’s the fit ? Is it a slimmer large? Thanks

mintgelato Gave * I love Arcteryx and that one is very suitable for what I need ( tons of research on it) haha

mttcnnn814 @mintgelato it's a bomb proof jacket for sure. It fits perfectly and I'm men's large in pretty much every brand. Room for a layer or two but not bulky.

mintgelato @mttcnnn814 I saw you mentioned the last jacket you posted the thorium was a bit of a slimmer fit, is it similar to that? Sounds perfect for me. I’m 6 foot 175 lbs , usually a large is ideal

mintgelato @mttcnnn814 regardless, I’m super interested. Would mean the world to me if you’d be willing to part with it- I would get great use out of it and appreciate it greatly!

mttcnnn814 @mintgelato the fission is a regular fit and definitely has more room than the thorium, not baggy, not tight, literally perfect. That thorium was the trimmest Large I've ever worn from Arc'teryx. Looking back, I stole that Fission for the price I paid I don't think I'd part with it for that. Especially given that Poshmark takes $25%.

mttcnnn814 @mintgelato what would you be willing to pay?

mintgelato @mttcnnn814 totally understand- what would you be looking for out of it? I’m actually in Canada, so when I pay in USD it’s a lot more for me- I ship to a USA post office then pick up ( couple hour drive ) it’s a hassle but the USA side of Poshmark has the best items haha.

mttcnnn814 @mintgelato man idk shoot me an offer and make it a solid one and I'll consider it. It sounds silly because I never wear it but it's one of the only insulated Arc's I own. I'd have to replace with with a beta insulated and they're like $750 now. I bought it for ice fishing but we had our son right after I bought it and haven't been out yet.

mintgelato @mttcnnn814 congratulations Mack! That’s exciting. I actually do some ice fishing out here by Toronto if you are familiar with Canada at all. Love being outdoors and I hope you can get out asap! I’m a young student and with the conversion for me ( because our dollar is botched ) I could only offer around $250. With taxes and fees that’s almost $400 Canadian. I know that’s not your problem- just explaining why I can’t pay more.

mintgelato @mttcnnn814 I’m dual citizen and I definitely am moving to the US when I can later in life. Hope you would possibly but consider but totally understand if not- you would be doing me a huge favour. Cheers.

mttcnnn814 @mintgelato sorry man I can't part with it for that. It'd be too hard to replace. Sorry but happy hunting

mintgelato @mttcnnn814 what would be your lowest you’d be comfortable with?
Dec 07Reply
mttcnnn814
mttcnnn814 @mintgelato we're a ways off. I'd need $400 after posh fees which would be like $680 CAN plus shipping. I know that's not exactly a steal for you, but I would be buying a $750 Beta Insul to replace it with and I'm not even sure I'd like it as much --they don't even make an insulated pro shell anymore at all.

christophermchu Hi could you please provide the pit to pit and length measurements?
Jan 09Reply
mttcnnn814
mttcnnn814 @christophermchu I'm out of town but I wear men's large in everything and this fits true to size. You can layer a Sheeit shirt with room underneath but it fits perfect with just a t-shirt underneath as well. I'd bet it's 23ish inches pit to pit. If you need an actual measurement I can send one Thursday.
