Knit Pants Periwinkle Size 10/12 but fits like 8

These pants are kind of like leggings but don’t have much stretch to them. They are a size 10/12 but my daughter who typically wears a 10 said they were uncomfortable and too small. Fits more like a size 8. New but tags removed. Never worn, just tried on.
