Knit Wool Sweater (GAP classic)

What a beautiful Euro-style sweater!! This was purchased in the '90s when the GAP first went 'upscale' - so I'm calling it "classic" GAP but we could almost call it "Vintage GAP". It is ALL WOOL with 15% lamb's wool, certainly not baby-soft but not scratchy. It has been very lightly used, because 30 years ago middle age was kicking in and... well, my body was not the canvas for this knitted work of art. The low-bulk knit is a natural fiber, light grey/beige color that I want to call 'oatmeal' or 'wheat'. It styles a large patchwork of various knits which feels both homemade and elegant. The arms are drop-shoulder and the cuffless neck, hem and sleeves with square-cut design create a very sexy casualness for the garment! It is marked as LARGE but it is certainly over-sized for a loose fit. I measure it at 25" across the front (and back) which in theory would fit men up to size 44 with a fit build. I'm a bit bigger that that (size 46 and not fit) and it is snug in the chest and hangs poorly over the belly (because of the square cut). SO, if ya got it, flaunt it!! Perfect for après-ski fashion or autumn night out, this sweater will get you some complements! OH - I think it could be great unisex choice for a slender built person.
