Kodak Vigilant Junior Six-16 Camera

Kodak Vigilant Junior Six-16 camera. The Kodak Vigilant Junior Six-16 is a folding camera for 616 roll film that was made by Kodak. This film is no longer available. The camera was made between 1935 and 1937. Folded closed, the camera measures 4" by 8". The camera is opened by pressing a button on the side and releasing the bellows unit by pulling on the table stand lever marked KODAK. The camera is closed by pressing on two tabs on the vertical struts. As 616 film is no longer available, this camera is not workable without modification to take 120 roll film. It makes a great conversation piece and wonderful home decor for the avid or casual camera buff. Very good condition - see photos for details.
