Kokopelli, Southwestern artwork

Original artwork Kokopelli metal figure hand made and signed by artist EMR purchased at the Los Angeles southwest museum. Previously owned and adored. He measures 14 1/4”H by 6 3/4” W the base is approx 4 1/2 by 5”. Bottom of the base is covered with felt to prevent scratches on furniture. Condition is “good” being consistent with age and use. Kokopelli (/?ko?ko?'p?li?/) is a fertility deity, usually depicted as a humpbacked flute player (often with feathers or antenna-like protrusions on his head), who is venerated by some Native American cultures in the Southwestern United States.
