if you measure it when the garment is laid out flat it is 34 inches... However, I measured my bust at 42 inches and the garment fits around me very easily. It stretches...the fabric itself is polyester... check out the Komarov website if you want to read more about this...It is a very expensive dress at over $300 new. Very very comfortable.
