Koransha Fukagawa Antique Cups & Saucers 1930s 万年青 オモト Omoto Berries Lilies​

This vintage Koransha Fukugawa demitasse cups and saucers set features the intricate Omoto pattern of overglaze berries on underglaze "Fukagawa blue" lilies all set on a milky white background. Fukagawa so perfected cobalt blue, that collectors call their cobalt "Fukagawa Blue". Made in Japan, these hand painted pieces showcase the beauty of Asian culture and are perfect for collectors. They are extremely light and finely potted, they are almost see through in the right light. One cup has a small "flea bite" on the rim near the handle. Please see pictures. Otherwise, they are in good vintage condition. The hand painted mark on the bottom indicates that they were likely made in the 1930s.
