Kuhlman Italy Tweed Handbag Purse Pocketbook Multicolor Wool? Metal Frame Lock

This bag is a mystery. It's made by Kuhlman Italy, it's tagged as such. There is no materials tag so I am not sure, but I would guess that the outside is wool tweed. The interior is almost canvas in feel but it's shiny. Bag has a frame at the top that closes with a single ball latch, almost like a kiss latch but just one ball. I believe the handle is leather, but again, no verification tag. There is a little crack on the handle, I did uses leather conditioner on the entire handle/strap. Bag is approximately 7 inches high excluding the strap, 2.5 inches deep measured at the bottom panel and approx. 13.5 inches wide at the widest part. I'm a 60's girl and this reminds me of something my mom would have carried. The tweed is many different colors, almost basket woven. The metal fasteners and frame are brass or bronze in color. Inside is clean, zipped compartment inside. Please see all photos.
