Kurtsy KEWPIE Porcelain Doll Danbury Mint Jesco Original Box COA Mint

No longer available through the Danbury Mint is the Kurtsy Kewpie hand painted porcelain collection doll. The doll is a reproduction of Rose O'Neil’s original 1913 Kewpie. Kurtsy Kewpie is so sweet in her curtsy pose, pink sundress adorned with tiny rosebuds, crinoline petticoat, painted anklet socks and black Mary Jane shoes. She has tiny blue angel wings on her back shoulders and her serial number is A7029. She comes in her original box (with foam and the Danbury Mint paper), Certificate of Authenticity, Certificate of Registration, instructions, wrist hang tag (still wrapped) and 2-part stand. Kurtsy Kewpie measures 10 ½ " tall. She is in excellent, like new condition. She has lived her life in the box and has never been displayed. The box, which is a reproduction of the 1913 box is in good condition with light shelf wear and a slight dent on the side of the lid. The box is marked Danbury Mint Kewpie (c) 2005 (c) JESCO.
