Kyomaï : the French-Japanese clutch bag

Clutch bag made in Reims, France, from a vintage Obi from Kyōto decorated with a Japanese mari ball adorned with a hanabishi water caltrop flower. This diamond-shaped flower was often used to decorate the kimonos and furniture of noble families. This clutch bag can be carried by hand or in a bag thanks to its removable chain, which attaches to the inside. An inside pocket holds a cell phone. Black silk interior. Gold chain.
