Antique French Dessert Knives, Horn Handles, Silver Collars, Rococo, Stamped “A Douris”, 12 pcs These seven antique French dessert knives have steel blades, horn handles and Rococo silver collars designed with flowers and stylized shells and leaves. The original blades are stamped with the maker’s mark “Mongin. Marseille”. The color of the horn varies from piece to piece and the above mentioned collars lend this ensemble all the elegance expected from the famous tradition of French cutlery. These knives are in good condition with the exception of some small cracks in some of the upper parts of the handles, darkened areas on the blades, all commensurate with their great age and normal use and not affecting the solidity of the pieces.
