@ecferriter yes, they would be considered high waisted. I'm 5'8", have long legs and torso and the waist band hits me right at the waist. in the front from the center of the crotch to the top of the waist band it's about 11" or just a little over. The inseam is about a 32. Hope that helps! Tracy
