@carriegunn1 the waistband has some give my daughter is a size two or three they fit her perfectly I was a size 4 when I bought them and they were a little too small for me to be comfortable I only wore them one time to a Shakespearean play and my 17 year old daughter more than one time to a job interview otherwise they are literally brand new
