1980s does 1940s. This soft cotton or rayon felling fabric wrap dress is perfect for a warm summer night out on the town. The subtle floral pattern is so pretty. The wrap forms a gorgeous gather in the front, and the added shoulder pads really helps to accentuate the waist. Tag says vintage size 7/8, but please see measurements as these usually don’t correspond with modern sizes. Does have some give. I am a modern 4/6 and could wear it fine. Approximate measurements: Bust: about 34- 36 inches wrap makes it a bit flexible Waist: about 26/27 inches Hips: 34 inches without considering slit. There is a bit more flexibility here given its open because of the "wrap" feature. Models hips are about 38 inches for reference. Length: 41 inches Sleeve Length: 8 inches Good Vintage Condition - some overall wear to the piece and minor fading to fabric. There are a few spots on the piece where the pattern was printed weirdly - there is an absence of color (a small white border) around the flowers, but again it was printed this way.
