luvmycutz Is the tonque on the side stitched to tje leather? Or do the laces make them adjustable?

joynhim2 @luvmycutz ok, with the laces closed: 14 1/2” calf circumference. With laces undone/loosened: 16”. This is with the size 8 boot. The leather panel under the laces is attached at both sides of boot. Hope that helps. :)

monkey521 So these are a 7 according to Bed Stu but listed as 6? I'm tts 6 and never had a pair of their boots run small. Are these cut different around the foot?

joynhim2 @monkey521 Actually Bed Stu are all over the place in their sizing. It really depends on the style. I have found similar sizing issues with the better made/hand crafted shoes/boots. These definitely run 1 size small (I had larger sizes in stock and tried on myself for fit).

monkey521 @joynhim2 I've personally never run into that problem and have several styles . Would you be able to measure the footbed on the inside?

joynhim2 @monkey521 Sure. The measurement (inside sole, tip of toe to end of heel) is 9 1/2”.

joynhim2 @monkey521 Actually, based on sizing charts, a size 6M woman’s foot is 9” long. That means the insole measurement needs to be long enough to give extra space for toes and also allow extra room for socks/stockings. 9 1/2” insole would give that extra room, especially for those who like to wear thicker socks with their boots. As I said, this style runs small. I have sold many different styles of Bed Stu: boots, loafers and sandals.

monkey521 @joynhim2 I get that, but my boots by Stu (6 pair) all literally approx 9", as well as other brands in my closet, my feet measure less than 9". Thanks.

joynhim2 @monkey521 Yes, Important to know our own feet length and insole length for a good fit. You lucked out with sizing I have to say. I’ve had the granny ankle boot, the combat boot, the Manchester.......had to size up for the first 2 and size down 1/2 size for the Manchester. I also carry an open toed bootie that runs 1/2-1 full size large. Like I said, Bed stu sizing is not consistent, so you are lucky to have found so many different styles that fit in the same size. :)

monkey521 @joynhim2 i was super hesitant on my first purchase! I've read so much about sizing being off but I haven't found it to be the case with me. With most any shoe to be honest. I wear thick socks with them too. I've had other boot brands too wide in the calf tho.
