ITEM: VINTAGE L’AVION Burnt Orange / Rust (Heavy) Suede Jacket Bomber——Men’s 44—Made in Taiwan—Distressed—RARE BRAND: L’Avion [The Plane] LABEL SIZE: Men’s “44” COLOR: Burnt orange / rust. CONDITION: VERY GOOD MINUS. Complete & intact with no flagrant flaws: NO HOLES, no stains, no rips, no tears, etc. But this jacket has vintage distressing—that is, it’s lightly but persistently smudged / soiled throughout (but not stained)—(as if used by a French flying ace on important missions). And though the front zipper works, we feel some play at the bottom of the zipper on both sides—indicating some looseness—which to us means both areas could do with some minute reinforcing/restitching. OUR OPINION: We were on the verge of having this heavy, snazzy suede bomber cleaned & reinforced at the bottom ends of both openings, when we decided to list it AS IS—in case there is an afficionado of vintage Suede classics who enjoys the AS IS condition. Pockets (no holes) at the hip, each with a working zipper. Jetted pocket (no holes) on the left chest of the interior. Leather hanging hook at back of collar on the interior.
