LEATHER! G III size S (vintage ?) black mid-length jacket 100% leather outer

THIS VERY FINE POSSIBLY VINTAGE BLACK LEATHER MID-LENGTH COAT/JACKET BY G III, SIZE S, is gently pre-owned, in excellent condition. The label for "inspected by" and a smaller label next to it are faded and have fraying around the edges (picture #16), but it's otherwise free of defects or damage, with little sign of wear. I'm calling it "possibly vintage" for 2 reasons: one, it has the look of a well kept older garment, and two, the people running the estate sale where I acquired it told me that it had belonged to their late mother who had owned it since "at least the 1980's." I have only their word for this and no way to verify. It has lightly padded shoulders, a collar and lapels, 2 very large and spacious pockets on each side (picture #10), and a one-button closure in front. The collar has elegant pleating all around (picture #11). It's fully lined in lustrous 100% nylon fabric. Professional cleaning by a leather or sued expert is recommended. The stated size is S, but prospective buyers are encouraged to compare the measurements with those of a jacket that they know fits well prior to purchase. Measurements are: chest, pit to pit 22"; waist 21.5"; hemline 21"; shoulder about 20.5" (approximate because there's no seam between shoulder and sleeve); sleeve about 23"; length (in back, collar seam to hem) 33". If you like the jacket but not the price, don’t despair, I’m willing to negotiate. Make me an offer.
