signedblake @nsm56 The point of the private offer is not to save on shipping. The point is to allow SERIOUS buyers to negotiate a price with the seller and to ensure that people follow through with the purchase. Instead of just price haggling for the sake of price haggling. There are ton of other ways on this app to save on shipping and you can work that out with the seller. For example you can let them know you're about to make an offer and that if they agree they can change the price for you.
