rebeccagriffin7 @smrchbnks hi. The hood and bib can be taken out. The jacket is on the warmer side. My son wore it in cooler fall days and in winter. We live in GA so it depends on what you consider cold. Our fall is high 40’s to 75 degrees and winters on ave are 30-50.
