Upper material: Organic cotton and Vans leather products support responsible manufacturing via the Leather Working Group. Footbed: The new ECOCUSH footbed is made using at least 25% bio based EVA foam partially derived from plant based sources. Outsole: The new Ecowaffle- all new rubber compound made with responsibly sourced natural rubber instead of petroleum derived synthetic rubber. I absolutely LOVE these shoes and tried to wear them which is why they are like new and not brand new. I wore them out one time and they are just too small for me.
