DESCRIPTION SHEET READS: Little Trudy is a lovely 18" weighted, porcelain doll, sculpted and designed by award winning artist Pauline Bjonness-Jacobsen. She was inspired by true life events that happened over 50 years ago when her little sister, Trudy, was lost shortly after World War II. Little Trudy has lovely hazel eyes and pretty auburn hair tied up in a large pink bow. She is dressed in a beautiful lacy taffeta dress detailed with gorgeous hand-smocking and delicate pin-tucking over a white lace and tulle trimmed petticoat and pantaloons. Little Trudy holds a replica of the baby doll named Emma that Pauline gave to her sister when they were reunited in Holland in 1946. Emma is an adorable 7" porcelain baby doll dressed in a pink print dress with hand-smocking and a matching lace trimmed bonnet.
