L.L. Bean black oiled leather buckle boots

Old Port Boot These are the perfect pirate boots. In 20yrs they will sag just so, the buckles still holding them secure and shapely. Right now? This is some STIFF leather. I'm trying to decide —still, after literally two years— if I should keep these or not and if I can handle the required breaking in process. They're a discontinued style. I like dressing as a pirate. What am I to do?!? Maybe someone will help make my indecision moot by making me an offer I can't refuse. Until then, I will stare at them accusingly from across the room.
