L.L.Bean Women’s Duck Boots size 7 limited edition dark brown fits like 8 / 8.5

These boots have so much life left in them. They no longer sell this limited edition dark brown leather color. These boots are very comfortable. There is a sloping wear on the right boot heel (see picture). The sizing tag has worn off but I’m pretty certain this is a size 7 in womens, which fit my foot when it was a solid 8.5. My feet grew after kids so I can no longer wear these awesome boots. I compared them for reference with a pair of Sperry duck boots that fit my now size 9 wide feet. (You can also see that the Bean boots quality in the heel is much tougher than the Sperry!) Construction: Full-grain leather. A uniquely shaped foot form offers comfort and stability, and a steel shank adds support. The original rubber chain-tread bottom provides traction and durability while keeping your feet dry. For sizing (see photos): With light or midweight socks: Whole sizes, order one size down. Half sizes, order 1½ size down. Example: 9 or 9½, order a size 8.
