stylishlabrador Hi Tracy. The brim is floppy. It's natural tendency is too fully shade the eyes and face. The ends do not naturally curl up like in the photo. I did that for the photograph. stylishlabrador Hi nickelbag6. The chord is held in place by a thread stitch every 3-4 inches. If you want to be able to tie it, you would just need to snip the threads - a very easy fix.
