Lorena Sarbu was a Romanian designer who specialized in bejeweled collections of glittery gowns and body-conscious cocktail dresses, and her couture designs were often seen on the red carpet. Dress to impress at that fancy cocktail party or even the red carpet in this couture sequined goddess dress dress covered completely in small paillettes (flat sequins) in shades of copper, gold, iridescent silver, and some that change with color with the light. All of these paillettes are attached to a matrix of brown silk crepe de chine. The dress is separately lined in copper-colored silk. It has a full foundation built into the bodice with flexible boning and a separate zipper. Sizing charts indicate the dress is a Extra Small, or size 0 or 2. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding size.* MEASUREMENTS (taken on the inside of the dress) - Underarm chest measurement is 30" - Waist is 24” - Hips measure 40” - Length is 36" from the top of the one shoulder to the bottom on that side. CONDITION I believe this dress has not been worn except perhaps as a sample. It is in excellent condition without any notable flaws or signs of previous wear, although we did make a repair to the bow on top of the shoulder.
