The island is the location of a camp founded in 1907 by Robert Baden-Powell, where he tested his Scouting ideas before the Scout movement took off in the following years. This set includes a neckerchief in a nice green that includes a patch of BROWNSEA Island with the Scout and Girl Guide symbols on it.
