LOUIS VUITTON *Iconic Vintage Authentic DEAUVILLE MONOGRAM "J.Lo" Purse

This is an authentic Louis Vuitton Deauville, one of the most popular designs from the 2000s and no longer in production. It became known as the "J.Lo bag" after she wore it in the ad campaign, and it was a Hollywood favorite. The Deauville was inspired by travel bags of the 1930s and has a waterproof canvas interior with elastic bands to hold cosmetic and toiletry bottles. It's often used as an everyday carry (great for electronics as well as your lunch) or baby gear / diaper bags. It has a generous size with a double-zip closure down the sides making everything very accessible and a front pocket for easy-grab items. This purse is in well-loved vintage condition with a dark patina on the vachetta leather. There is extensive cracking on the vachetta as well as on the top handles. The front pocket trim has cracking as well as a small. amount of leather loss. The leather loops around the brass rings have extensive cracking and one loop has leather fraying. One interior pocket has a large ink stain which is only visible from inside the pocket. The hardware is in good condition - no significant issues - and the canvas is in great condition with no issues. The overall shape of the purse has relaxed from wear and storage. Despite the wear and damage to the leather, this purse is a real workhorse with plenty of life left and a glamorous vintage aesthetic.
