@taramarie_c when you purchase a luxury item like a louis vuitton bag that's $500 or more, it gets mailed directly to Poshmark headquarters first so their experts can authenticate it, once it's authenticated Poshmark mails it to you. this way you know you are purchasing the real deal.
the scammers try to sell their counterfeit items below $500 so it doesn't go through Poshmarks authenticity process.
