"LOVE HAS NO GENDER", Brynn Rothberg, acrylic on canvas, 2022

I painted this work at home with acrylic paints. I'd say it falls under the pop art category due to the fact that the image of the 2 men already existed, I just made my own image of them where I changed everything about it from the medium to the way it looks. My intentions for this piece is for it to represent equality to the LGBTQ community, as well as love, representing that there's no gender rules such as which gender likes what or should wear what, respect to those who serve our country, and valuing everyone highly, not being selective about it. At the size of a large square dinner plate, it fits well anywhere and the colors aren't ones that have a tendency to conflict with any others, so it goes well in any room. It is one of my favorites.
