patrona1998 @shortgirlsshop2 hi there, no it has not been painted or altered in any way. It’s a beautiful vintage LV. No tag inside. This was made before LV started tagging their bags. It can be authenticated. It’s 100 percent LV.

jonchrisprice The date code is on the back of the leather D ring tab on the inside. It appears that the bottom has been painted, especially since the stitches are not visible.

patrona1998 @jonchrisprice Sorry, but you’re incorrect. The vachetta leather is perfect and has not been painted. This is an authentic vintage LV. I’m aware of where the date code is located and have updated the photos. The stitching is in tact as well. If you’re not interested, move on.

jonchrisprice @patrona1998 you earlier posted there was no date code because it was pre-date code. The Cabas series was introduced in 2001 and popularized by (not created for) Anagelina Jole. You obviously don't know where the date code is.
