This is just general information on a quick guide to LV merchandise..... It may help a few of us in avoiding faux bags. Dont get me wrong some are pretty nice even if they are faux however claiming authenticity when its not is simply wrong and it takes away from the fun of "poshing"

@mnrod1210 Love that you posted this to help people! 1 country code id like to add to this is the DK code. It's used for bags that have been re-lined by Louis Vuitton so only used on certain bags (which is why many date code guides don't include it). Just thought I'd add that in 😁

@louisvuittonbag thank your for your input! I have been a victim of faux products lol so i thought i better learn to buy! I love Poshmark you can get good deals but we can also get hustled. Thats not fun. I had some one tell me that LV does not always "code" their merchandise because of delicacy of the material......NOT TRUE! At those prices they code everything. Again thank you! I love new and second hand LV!

@mnrod1210 I firmly believe that a good majority of people selling replicas are honest people who truly believe their piece is authentic. When I hear people saying things like "oh this doesn't have a date code because the material" or something I think; Maybe they just can't find it? Maybe it's faded away and the buyer was told it doesn't have one due to material? Who knows, but that's what I think! I love pre-owned LV bags myself (obviously) lol.
